Chetan Mehta

President & CEO

Chetan started his career as a software engineer and has a long track record of developing and delivering technology, process improvement, and outsourcing solutions. He founded C-Metric to deliver solutions with a primary goal of improving operational efficiency through technology and optimized process. Chet has deep knowledge and extensive expertise in mortgage finance, mortgage default, law firm operations, and operations of financial institutions. He has successfully leveraged technology and back-office services to streamline client operations. Chet has designed and implemented several customized software solutions since he founded the company in 1995, and later progressed in the areas of optimization solutions tailored specifically to optimize operating performance of client companies. C-Metric, at its peak, was over 750 people strong delivering back-office and technology services to mortgage and title companies throughout the United States. Chet’s unique insight into the verticals such as mortgage finance, banking, land title, legal, and education industries comes from years of hands on experience in advising companies in different stages of growth. C-Metric has enabled its clients to reduce cost, be more profitable, respond quickly to challenging business environments, and rise up to the relentless demands of the markets. This has allowed C-Metric to produce “industry best practices” and benchmarks for its clients with repeatable, scalable solutions to help its clients enable growth in a profitable manner while managing the risks inherit in the industry.

Prior to C-Metric, Chet worked at Fortune 500 companies including Avery Dennison, Checkpoint Systems, and Lockheed Martin. His last employment was at Lockheed Martin as a program manager with Level 2 security clearance. Under his leadership, C-Metric achieved ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. He received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University, and pursued an MBA at Rutgers University.

Jinesh Dalal

Vice President – Technology Solutions

JD is responsible for leading C-Metric’s technology development unit. JD started his career as a web developer during the early days of the Internet revolution way back in 1997. Since then he has taken on many key roles including project manager, delivery manager, operations head, strategic consultant, analyst etc. and has served clients all over the globe. His experience encompasses developing the technology solution for start-ups to large enterprise, and from product base to service based organizations. Throughout his career, JD managed many custom development and maintenance projects in multicultural and distributed team environments. He has successfully leveraged onshore as well as offshore delivery models and managed projects as small as a website development to as big as large multi-national ERP solutions.

He has been instrumental in setting up a delivery center for a CMMi level 3 organization and enabled the growth of the organization by 10 folds in less than 5 years. Such growth was made possible by high client retention ratio and maintaining strong relationships with clients. He also played an important role in initiating new services like mobile application development and Ruby on Rails development.

JD has also headed the IT division of one of the largest conglomerates in India having their interest in trading, energy, ports, shipping etc. He successfully designed and implemented the total IT solution for the Treasury Desk of the company which included security and integration of various data feeds. In addition to this he played an important role in the automation of various departments like HR, Admin, Travel, Banking etc. He was also part of a core team which worked on an SAP implementation strategy for a company.

He has earned Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and then pursued his MBA from Gujarat University. In addition to this, he has continued to develop his professional career by taking many courses in technology as well as project management and has attended various technology summits & conferences.
